Tim Allen

 Allen was born in Denver on June 13, 1953. Allen is the third of six children of Martha Katherine (nee Fox), a community-service worker, as well as Gerald M. Dick, an agent in real estate. [1][2] Allen is the third child of Martha Katherine (nee Fox) and Gerald M. Dick, who is a real estate agent. Allen is the older brother of two and two younger siblings as well as two brothers older. When Allen was eleven, his father died in a car crash. He collided with the driver who was drunk. [1][3] Two years later, his mother married her high school sweetheart, a business executive,[2] and moved with her children to Birmingham, Michigan, to be with her husband and his three children. 4 Allen says that moving meant going from "being part of a cool clique at one school, to being in the middle [of the social ladder at another].Allen was a student at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, where he was in theater and music classes (resulting in his passion for the piano). He later attended Central Michigan University before transferring to Western Michigan University in 1974. He graduated in 1974. Allen was an undergraduate student at Western Michigan University and worked as a radio engineer for the WIDR radio station. In 1976, he graduated with an undergraduate degree in communications, specialising in production of television and radio, with a split minor in design and philosophy.
