Terry Paxton Bradshaw, born on September 2, 1948 was an American former professional footballer who was quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). Since 1994, he has been a sports analyst on television and host of Fox NFL Sunday. Bradshaw is also an actor and a recording artist, having participated in various TV shows (mainly as himself) and movies which include co-starring roles in the movie Failure to Launch, and releasing various country music albums. Bradshaw played 14 seasons for Pittsburgh and won four Super Bowl titles over a period of six seasons (1974 1977, 1975 and 1978 and 1978, respectively). He was the first quarterback to win three Super Bowls, and also led the Steelers in eight AFC Central titles. In 1989, the first year of the eligibility requirement, he was admitted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In 1996, Bradshaw was inducted into College Football Hall of Fame. Bradshaw is known as a tough competitor and possessing one of the strongest arms in NFL history. Bradshaw's physical abilities and his leadership in the field played a key part in the Steelers their success in the 1970s. In his playing career, he passed for more than 300 yards in a game only seven times, but three of those performances came in the postseason (two of which were in Super Bowls). He threw for 932 yards and 9 touchdowns and four Super Bowl appearances. These were both Super Bowl records at his retirement. He completed 261 passes for 383 yards during 19 postseason games.
