 Tanya Roberts was born Victoria Leigh Blum however, the birth date has been given as 1955. She was born in Manhattan or in the Bronx or the Bronx in New York City to Oscar Blum (nee Smith) in 1949. 5 Oscar Maximilian Blum was a New York City native. The father of Oscar Theodor Blum was an early pioneer in the area of local anesthesia as well as dental x-rays. 9 Theodor was born and was raised in Vienna, Austria. He moved to New York in 1904. 6. It also indicates that Oscar Blum was a pen manufacturer's sales manager. 2. Tanya was living with her sister in Scarsdale in 1956, in the 1950-built house which is still in use 70 years after. [20][2121 Tanya was born in Scarsdale, NY in March 1951. Her parents purchased the Scarsdale home new and then the house was sold in January of 1958. They also bought an apartment in Greenburgh during the month of January. [2222 Tanya was able to sell the Greenburgh property to her father in July of 1961. Oscar Blum, a New York fountain pen salesman, helped the family out by earning a small amount. The family was born in the Bronx.
