Rosa Perez was born September 6th, 1964. She is an American choreographer and actress. Her breakthrough role as Tina in Do the Right Thing (1989) was followed by White Men Can't jump (1992). Her performance as Tina in Fearless (1993), earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Perez has been in numerous films since then which include It Could Happen to You (1994), The Road to El Dorado ((2000), Pineapple Express (2008) and Birds of Prey (2021). She was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Award nominations, one for In Living Color (1990-1994) as well as one for her character in The Flight Attendant (2020-2021). She has appeared in stage plays on Broadway like The Ritz, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Fish in the Dark. She also co-hosted the 18th season of The View, ABC's talk show. The View.
