Natalie Dormer was born 11 February 1982. is a British actress. Her awards include an Empire Award, and receiving nominations for a Critics Choice Award, two Gemini Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Born in Reading, Berkshire, Dormer was a star on the scene when she played the role of Anne Boleyn on Showtime show The Tudors (2007-08), which earned her widespread acclaim. She made her stage debut in the play Sweet Nothings (2010) and portrayed the Duchess of York in Madonna's film title="W.E. Title="W.E. Her performance in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic was well-received.
Dormer received international recognition and accolades for her performance as Margaery Tyrell in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2012-2016) and Cressida in the last two parts of The Hunger Games franchise (2014-2015), which rank as her top-grossing movies. Dormer also played Irene Adler/Moriarty on the CBS series Elementary (2013)-15, Sara Price/Jess price (2016) as well as Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2018). Her leading role in the miniseries Penny Draful: City of Angels was praised.
