 Michelle Marie Pfeiffer The actress, known as 'faIf@r' was born on April 29 in 1958. She is an American producer and actress. She is a popular performer, well-known for her versatility. Her work on screen covers more than four years. She was among Hollywood's most prominent sex symbols in the 1990s and 1980s. Her many accolades include a Golden Globe Award, a British Academy Film Award, and nominations for three Academy Awards as well as a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2007, she was honored with an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.Pfeiffer briefly studied court stenography before choosing to pursue acting. Her career began in the year 1978 with a handful of TV and film appearances. In 1982, she was offered her first major role in Grease 2, which failed to impress critics and audiences alike. Unhappy with being cast in nondescript roles as attractive women, she sought more challenging material, earning her breakout role in 1983 as the gangster moll Elvira Hancock in Scarface. Her roles in Married to the Mob (1988) and The Witches of Eastwick ( 1987) were more successful. She was also nominated for the first time in a string of six consecutive Golden Globe Awards. She was nominated for two Academy Awards for her roles in Dangerous Liaisons (1988), and The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) and also won the Golden Globe Award. She portrayed Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992), received her third Academy Award nomination for Love Field (1992), drew praise for her performances in The Age of Innocence (1993) and Wolf (1994) and produced her own star vehicles with the company of Via Rosa Productions, including Dangerous Minds (1995). Focusing on her family, she performed occasionally throughout the 2000s, and in the early part of the decade. In 2007, she played characters in blockbusters Hairspray and Stardust. Pfeiffer was back in the limelight in 2017, with her roles in the films Where is Kyra!, Mother! and Murder on the Orient Express. She also earned her first Primetime Emmy Award nomination, for her role as Ruth Madoff in The Wizard of Lies. She debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as The Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) prior to earning her 8th Golden Globe Award nomination for French Exit (2020).
