Lady Gaga

 Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (/'stef@ni DZe:rm@'nat@/ (listen) STEF-@n-ee JUR-m@@-NOT-@; born on March 28, 1986) is professionally known as Lady Gaga, is an American musician, singer, and actress. She is known for her reimagining of the image and musical versatility. Gaga began her career when she was a teenager, performing at open mics and acting in school productions. Gaga attended Collaborative Arts Project 21 at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts before she made the decision to pursue a musical career. She was fired by Def Jam Recordings and began working as a songwriter for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. In 2007 she signed a joint arrangement with Interscope Records, KonLive Distribution, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Gaga made her mark in the year following when she released her first studio album The Fame, and its chart-topping singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". The album was later renewed with the extended musical The Fame Monster (2009) that produced the smash singles "Bad Romance", Telephone, and Alejandro. The five studio albums that followed all reached the top of the US Billboard 200. Her most recent album, Born This Way (2011), explored techno-pop and electronic rock. It has sold more than a million copies within the first week. The album's title track was the fastest-selling song on the iTunes Store, with over one million downloads in just a week. After her third album with an EDM influence, Artpop (2013), and the lead track "Applause", Gaga released the jazz album Cheek To Cheek (2014) featuring Tony Bennett, and the soft rock album Joanne (2016). Gaga ventured into acting and won awards for her roles in the miniseries American Horror Story Hotel (2015-2016) and the musical A Star Is Born (2018). The first woman to win an Academy Award and BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award and Grammy Award for her contributions to the soundtrack of A Star Is Born, which spawned the top-selling single "Shallow". Gaga made a return to dance-pop in her sixth studio album, Chromatica (2020) that yielded the number-one track "Rain on Me". Following this, she released her second album of collaboration together with Bennett, Love for Sale as well as a leading part in the biopic House of Gucci, both in 2021.
