Jason Statham

 Jason Statham (/'steIth@m/; born on July 26, 1967) is an English actor from England. He is famous for his portrayals of the characters of various action-thriller movies that are usually tough or gritty, hardboiled or violent.Statham began practising Chinese martial art, kickboxing, and karate recreationally as a child while working at local market stalls. A keen footballer and diver, he was a member of Britain's national diving team and also competed for England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. In the following year being asked to appear as a model for French Connection, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi's in various advertising campaigns. He was a market stall worker , and was a part of Guy Ritchie's crime films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch ((2000). The films had a huge commercial success and Statham became Frank Martin in the Transporter Trilogy (2002-2008). After appearing in a range of action thrillers and heist films such as The Italian Job (2003), Crank (2006), War (2007), The Bank Job (2008), The Mechanic (2011), Spy (2015), and Mechanic: Resurrection (2016) He established himself as an established Hollywood leading man. He also been in movies that were both commercially and critically flops such as Revolver (2006), Chaos (2005) and In the Name of the King (2008). He was part of the action-packed ensemble series The Expendables (2010), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017) Wild Card (2013) and F9 (2021). The latter series, he been playing Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), F9 (2021) and the spin-off Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019). His first film credit came as a co-producer of Hobbs & Shaw.
