DJ Envy

 DJ Envy was born in Queens, New York City. He was taught by a neighborhood friend DJ Clue [4] who introduced him to the mixtape scene in the mid-1990s. DJ Clue took him under his wing and helped him to achieve his rise as a disc jockey. By the early 2000s the DJ was hosting exclusives and commercials for other well-known artists, which include Hahflamez, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and The Lox. Then, he was signed to DJ Clue's record label Desert Storm. He released his first studio album, The Desert Storm Mixtape, Blok Party, Vol., in 2003. 1.DJ Envy's first big break on the radio was when he mingled once a month for Hot 97's show called "Takin' it to the Streets", hosted by Angie Martinez from 12:00 am until 4:00 am. However, he later took over after Martinez became pregnant. 5: From 6 am to 10 pm daily, he co-hosted Hot 97's morning show along with Miss Jones. His time on the morning show came to an end in July 2008 when Miss Jones moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hot 97's DJ Envy hosted his own mix shows called "The People's Mix" Saturdays at 12:00pm to 22:00pm, as well as "The People's Choice Hit List Sundays at 5:00 pm to 8:15 pm. The segment he played on Hot 97 titled "New at 2" which played the newest hits from 2:00 pm to 22:30 pm. He was the host of Hip-Hop's afternoon show on Sirius XM Radio from 5:00 until 10:00 EST on weekdays, and used to host a show on Power 105 from 2:00 to 6 pm on weekends. On the Monday of December 6, 2010, Angela Yee and Charlamagne tha God began hosting the Breakfast Club on Power 105. He supported stop-and-frisk in September 2016 and afterwards apologized for his statements. On Monday, December 6 2010 DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne tha God started hosting the morning show on Power 105 under the name The Breakfast Club. [5] He was featured in the 2006 film Blood of a Champion, being credited as Shadow's enemy. He was also featured in The Raw Report of Gucci Mane. On the 21st of March, 2010, DJ Envy was appointed VJ for MTV2's Sucker Free Countdown. He recently released "Still a Fan" with Ric Love, who is a musician and recording artist. Many believe that he's working on a mixtape. Gia Casey and Casey host "The Casey Crew", A podcast that talks about the good, bad, and ugly of family relationships.
